Eulogy

Private Floyd A Fahnestock was the definition of bravery as he answered his country's call to arms to not just defend this country, but to also defend all of our allies as well. He went to Normandy, France knowing the possible consequences but nevertheless, he went anyways with the sheer determination to defend the freedoms we enjoy today. However on July 1, 1944 he made the ultimate sacrifice and was killed in action. In addition to being an incredibly brave soldier, he was a loving husband and brother to his wife Ida and his siblings Frank, Carrie, Grace, Elden, Pauline, Elise, and Louise whome he was survived by.
